It's late..

Or early.... Depends on what side of sleep you are I suppose..

My best friend and I talked today for the first time in ages. I moved, from the city where we both lived, about 3 months ago and I have heard and seen even less from her than I did when I thought I was never seeing or hearing from her. She told me she got off her medications (I am very for, not into psycho-drugs) but that she has been feeling extremely suicidal as of late. This upset me greatly, needless to say. She jokingly said that the world would be better off without her, (I hate melodrama, no matter how serious the threat) I told her the world as a whole would more than likely neither hinder nor benefit from her absence, but that I would be devastated beyond comprehension.
I'm not sure if thats the best approach to take.
Either way, I miss her dearly. Its hard to completely reset your life, despite how much of an improvement it is. New friends, new places, new sounds, and sights.

I have learned a few things about myself through the course of things though,
1. I love/need wide open spaces.
2. I don't like busy cities.

More like a couple, rather than a few..

I do feel as though I have lost a lot of my spark in almost every facet of my day to day life. This is the first year I can honestly say I am not at all looking forward to my birthday... I can't even find the inspiration to create anything. I have been trying though, simple things like still life or trying to make what I see in my head translate onto paper..





I haven't been too impressed with any of it.. Any one have any good ways to jump start your brain and get back into the grove?

I couldn't be more excited about one thing... Radeo's coming to town... Let me forewarn you, there will be copious amounts of shenanigans.
