It is officially my birthday month! You may begin your sacrificing and sending your offerings to your local high priestess!! Man.. this month is getting so stressful already, and its only the 9th! I have no idea how I'm going to slow things down and enjoy while getting everything I need done, done!
So this year I didn't do the normal grill out, party, drinking, firework watching 4th of July celebration.. Instead, I went hiking. .
My snake got loose again!!! This time it took me all day to find him.. I got an awesome clue from my friend/waitress at dinner and she said her friends got loose and they found it a month later on a curtain rod.. so i got home and instead of looking on the ground and in stuff i look up and around the house and:
I was a inspired by Opaque's lentil tacos and started thinking up other creative lentil meal ideas and made this amazing concoction!
I present to you, lentil sloppy joes!!
They were out of this world.
Last night we went to the Stone Brewery for dinner, its always so lovely!

Oh, cool. I think I rode my motorcycle down the highway that passes near there once. Nice ride. Bit too much traffic... Sometimes I forget that there's a lot of pretty country scattered around the LA basin—I figured you'd been up in the Sierras somewhere...
