The beginning of this year has been like starting a new book you have never heard of nor have idea what it is about but have a nice feeling that it'll be a good one.
I must admit that my perfectionism affects my life too much - for example I've been unable to answer my messages or comments here because a) I feel like I can't come up with anything interesting to say and b) English isn't my mother tongue so I feel a bit crippled with my communication. I shouldn't try so hard and just do things instead but it's easier to say than to do
Things I'm looking forward to this year
*my burlesque troupe's shows
*studying and taking some really interesting courses
*hoping to finally travel to US
*photographing
I'm also moving into a new apartment and will be selling prints from my set Reflections to pay for the move.

I have the same problem with being a perfectionnist, it s getting me crazy sometimes cos i can t reach what i want, can t express myself the way i want, can t do things the way i want them to be, every aspect of life is difficult for perfectionnists, i understand what you feel. 
i hope this year will be all good for you!!

Venla - It is a sad truth, but your English, at least the written that I see, is far better than that of most people over here, in the States. Good for you; bad for us. (I get a lot of email because of my rescue and sometimes the grammar and/or syntax is SO bad I am not even sure what the writer is asking of me. )
So - please! - chatter away. To people like me your well written words are a welcome relief!

I agree with JunkyardAngel, your English is better than most people that speak it as their native tongue. Hell, your writing is amazing, If nothing else, post in Finnish and make us run it through an online translation. That at least would keep us all on our toes.
