lava monster was the best game ever! and i remember that Listerine commercial. i actually remember when that song was a new wave hit song in the 80s. the band was called Baltimora.
i have a CD of really dumb but wonderfully dumb songs that i play in my car and sing to really really loud just so i can get those funny looks. it's very theraputic and freeing. want a copy of the CD?
I've been one of the biggest supporters of that fantastic haircut. That would be really cool if you went back to it(not that my opinion matters really either way in terms of your decision).
Now listen here, missy. I am never afraid of looking immature. I'll love playing those reindeer games! Lava monster? I'm your huckleberry, that's just my game! Sorry, had to throw the Tombstone quote. I'm glad your fella didn't go to Nevaaaaada (it's so silly that they pronounce it that way). I'm glad you've figured out that running away at all is the wrong thing to do. I wish others would learn that. Eh, so it goes. As for my crush? I'm not tellin'. Well I'll tell a little. She's just a funny little thing that I shouldn't have a crush on. Just call me Will Robinson. Are you too young to get that reference? I almost am.
Also, you're right. We're not allowed to be kids when we feel like it. And we SHOULD be allowed. People get all miffy looking when I sing in public, or dance in the middle of a convenience store, or just simply fuck up the general ho-hum of their every day lives. I think just looking at me bothers most people. But anyway, I continue on, and I shall not lose my want to play. Ever.
Your observation about drinking is quite astute and fresh...at least to me and I've done a lot of drinking...a lot. Not every day but a lot none the less. I think grass can bring out the child as well for some people...they giggle and get silly or really cosmic and silly...well some people, me anyway.
Disco 2000 just came on...I always think of you when I hear Pulp. Thanks again!

Stop cutting your hair then
I totally agree about the children thing, people think too much about what other people think of them, and that leads them to not have as much fun as they would like. And that's a good point about the drinking, I never thought of it that way and might be one reason why I don't feel the need to drink.
If you want, I can bring my N64 with me and we can play StarFox in a couple days
Thanks, but do give yourself a bit of credit in having hair that looks good grown out. Admittedly as I'm trying to grow my hair out a bit for comic con it just sort of becomes poofier and poofier instead of longer. Blasted Poofy Genetics.
yeah, my mom gave them to me! she bought them in italy, they didn't fit, and she never wore them, so she just gave them to me!
Hmmmm, I think some of us try to pretend we don't want to be children, and the other half of us do it anyway, then get funny looks, but we don't care, cuz we're having fun, then the others envy us...if you find the right people, you will always be able to be a kid. or at least just be yourself, and most of the time that involves reverting to childhood sillyness.
