Here's another one:

Sensation is not Enough

Tonight, let us begin with a quotation. As Audre Lorde said: "The erotic offers a well of replenishing and provocative force to the woman who does not fear its revelation, nor succumb to the belief that sensation is enough." Oh, no, sensation is not enough! Sensation is the door, the bridge that leads to my wisdom. Your body knows things, remembers things that your mind can never touch. Through sensation you can find visceral meaning in images smells and vibrations that cannot be translated into any verbal language. But first, in order to enter the door, you must find it. In order to transcend sensation you must first feel it deeply. In order to transcend our anonymous state we must use all the tools that anonymity offers.
Sex is chaotic creation. That is why it is so frightening. It allows you to see the shape of who you are and what you can be. It gives you the choice of destroying, utterly, who you are in order to become more human. If you choose that path you must embrace your fear of dismemberment, your fear of death. You learn to trust that the chaotic forces will reassemble you in time. When you own your sex you attain this chaotic wisdom. It is in your body! You can't settle for being less than who you are! You find the power to fight back. That is what lies behind the door of sensation.
Now, anonymity. When you acts anonymously there is also a death and rebirth, of sorts. It is important to love yourself, but it is not important to project images of yourself everywhere and have everyone see what you do just so you can be comforted by recognition. Fools! Do you think I, Anonyma, care about what's on your face book page, your myspace, your ipod, your blogs, your stupid drunken you tube videos? I see what you are behind the pixels. If you choose my path you will give your beautiful gifts and send them out to sea.

In other news I bought three tarot decks in the past few days: Celtic Dragon Tarot , Legend the Arthurian Tarot , Tarot of Atlantis .They all look amazing. The Arthurian Legends one is for my cousin who's turning 15 this Friday. I have no idea if she'll like it, but it's worth a try. Usually I get her make-up or some other girly thing, hopefully this will get the gears turning a bit. Oooh! I also got a nice chunk of quarts with some blue/purple tourmaline rods in it. It's on my altar now representing Air. Now I have a big rock for the four elements. Earth is a small sphere of Tiger Iron, Water is an egg of Crysocolla, and fire is a sphere of Carnilian. Then I have all the other little rocks in a circle. I'm noticing who's making friends with who (Which rocks like to sit next to each other in the circle) and that exites me. Altars are fun, Tarot is fun, I'm going to go do a reading for myself now biggrin

These monologues are quite interesting. They are approaching some ideas I've never considered. I very like that. Might I suggest that you use the words "cannot" instead of "can't" in the following sentence:
"you can't settle for being less than who you are!" --> "You cannot settle for being less than who you are!" It seems to give it more emphasis, imho.

Your alter sounds like an extension of your inner being.

Tarot is fun. I miss having my friends do readings for me. The coolest deck I've ever seen was this "Osho" inspired deck. It wasn't quite the same as the major and minor arcanas in the traditional deck, but the readings were quite insightful. My friend gave me a Salvador Dali deck, which I love but absolutely no use of. Perhaps, I'll have to change that this summer. .

The door of sensation sounds like quite an exciting place to hang out, except for the body dismemberment thing. I have an injured rotator cuff and just that is painful enough to keep me from pursing anymore paths of pain. The body talking together may be worth just a little poke.

Grats on your new tarot decks. Don't turn the world upside down with them.
