Wow. I just saw that I haven't updated since 2008! Wow, go me. Now I feel old. Anyway. . .
I might shoot another set soon, that's exciting!
Other than that I'm going to film school and babysitting. Geeking out on Dragon Age.
Last year I took two claymation classes from Will Vinton - pretty fuckin rad. This year I'm starting with the basics: Digital Video editing, which I'm taking now, and DV shooting, which will probably happen next fall.
Last term I tried to finish my animation project from the advanced claymation class last winter term. It blew up in my face and was impossible and frustrating on many levels. However! A few months ago I got in touch with a classmate who is the artistic director of a small, 3 people, local claymation studio. Now I'm volunteering for them making puppets and props for their current project. It's a lot better than me trying to figure out everything on my own. We're putting together a kickstarter video to help us raise money to finish the project. More details on that soon.
