My band, The Sort just started recording our first full length album. Drums and bass are hours away from being done, and then Clark has to get to work on guitars and I have to get to work on vocals. I don't know why I said I "have to". I'm actually incredibly stoked about the whole process. I'm recording and producing my own vox, so I'm sure it will be frustrating, but I think we're possibly going to have access to a really sweet mic which will help tremendously. Anyway, that's the excitement in my life right now. Cheers.

What makes you think I'm not singing? Anyway, we're out of the studio for the time being and some of the brand new demos are posted on our myspace page, so go CHECK THEM OUT if and when you get a chance. Let us know what you think. Also, we're playing a show at Alleykatz on Thursday August 3rd. The show starts at 6pm, consists of 5 bands, and we are playing third. The cover is 6 bucks at the door. Our set is being filmed in HD for a music series set to air on public television in Sept or Oct. Come shake your shit for the camera/s. I'll sure as hell be shaking mine. After shedding the keyboard in this new band I had to create a stage presence from scratch. I no longer had a "podium", so to speak, and I'm starting to enjoy it. So please, come out and have a beer with us. At the very least it's amusing watching me get nervous in T-15 minutes til showtime. Pre-show anxiety is incurable, I maintain.
