People have always told me I'm so good with computers, etc. But I always think, "Yeah, that's just because you know nothing about them that you think so." And I'm definitely feeling that way right now, because I'm not really sure what the difference between a tablet and a notebook is. I believe a tablet might be touch-screen based, but beyond that, I don't know if there's a significant difference. Aside from price, probably.

Anyway, hope your classes continue to go well for you

a netbook is like a shrunken Laptop. opens and closes. mostly designed for for use on the internet. A tablet is like an iPad. doesn't have a "real" keypad. it's touchscreen. I can give you more detail if you like, just PM me...

when i was a kid i saw en episode of 20/20 on lyme disease and that became my biggest fear. i would seriously scan my whole body for ticks any time i went to the woods.
as for laptop vs tablet, I would say laptop if you plan to type papers. I have a macbook air that is excellent for traveling. tablets, like ipads are great for everything else you want, but writing papers would become kind of difficult, even with an external bluetooth keyboard. call me if you want some more advice on that matter...

someone has mentioned it and i agree when you mentioned bones and lab coats my mind wandered for a moment to a possible set idea involving some kind of crime lab type set with lab equipment and you in a lab coat and nothing else etc just a thought.....

anyway glad you are enjoying your classes and hope that pretty shoulder is ok i know how iritating that can be i threw out my shoulder out years ago and every once in awhile ill overwork it and it will get out of joint and ill have to work it back in again

Tablets are great for content consumption, but not the best for long, drawn out creation like writing papers. You can get some nice dock accessories for some that can turn them into semi-laptops like computers. I like Asus as a brand if you don't want Apple products.

Bones is the tops! I get kind of sad when one of the more interesting characters leaves in the 2nd or 3rd season... I can't remember which.. but it doesn't lose its oomph!

Get that shoulder taken care of..hope it gets better soon.
Since your gonna be typing a lot of papers for school.. you'll probably want a netbook for the keyboard.
