Suggestions for Halloween...I'd say go for a TV show or movie you love and pick a character from that and go with it. That's pretty much my plan every year.

Well, what's "in" this year on the geek front is obviously Potter (could go semi-original and be the golden snitch), True Blood (not snooky though.. just not her..), and Mass Effect (go as one of the side-characters though). That said, if it is a wizard conference... there is always 'Raven' from Teen Titans, some character from Doctor Who (River?).. or for just awesome hotness that is totally non-wizard, non-'this year' there is always Ghost in the Shell, 5th Element, Bayonetta (just make a costume that is one long wig and wrap it around).. Any of this help?

Hmm...HK's suggestion got me thinking...I know you like the dinos. I've seen some interesting costumes from Bob and others, based on creatures rather than clothing styles. Hers was Chewbacca; perhaps there is a way to adapt elements of your favorite dino into a costume (hers had a sexy style to it, but I imagine something you make or find one that is less, or more revealing if you wish).
