Cant place a Daryle, but im bad with names. Had a friend Noel, big fat black skinhead, lived in NYC for a few years. He moved to Ireland about a year and a half ago. God I miss him.

EMS is a totally great field. In big cities its something of a rouges gallery, kind of where people end up when they have nothing better to do. Sounds like your primed for it. People I work with are the nicest, most skilled bunch of alcohlic degenerates you could ever hope to meet. Anything particular you wanna know, just ask. And as I said before, I know a few gaurds who made the jump already.

Living arrangement are fun arent they. I just kicked my crackhead roommate out and Im buying my house out of forclosure, Fun. Were still recruting for cleveland, got two from pittsburg this month, and hopefully got two more from Richmond on the edge.

Pressure Drop, theres no Noel in Pressure Point. Was Daryle in the band, dont think he went by Daryle then if so. Noel was engaged to an irish girl. He spent a year making accomadations to move there. I think the relationship was on the outs when he was leaving but he figured all that work had best be for for nothing and went anyway. He called me the day before he left and gave me contact info which I then proceeded to loose (cause im smart). Ive been trying for months to find anyone who has it, if I get it ill pass it along for your friend. I totally miss Noel.

EMS- What you need is a drivers liscense and common sense.
There is a national registry of EMTs, but things may differ state to state due to different levels of care allowed to be practiced in different areas. I can speak of Ohio and I wouldnt imagine things would be too different anywhere else.
It takes about 6 months (1 semester) to become a basic EMT. Can possably be done quicker depending on the type of school you go to. Really easy class. To then move on to Paramedic (EMT-P), you have to go for another very long year of school. You can start working at the basic level though. There is also talk of making medic school into a 2 year program (actually a really good idea) but it probably wont happen anytime soon.
I dont know of anywhere that is anti-diabetic. I work with several people who are and we used to even have a guy with an inselin pump. If you know somewhere that wont let you work as one (or even will hold it against you), then thats just fucked up.
