well i managed to catch something.
i had sinus pressure for like a week and half before it really amounted to anything.
i was beginning to think that maybe it was just the change in weather when BAM!!
i got like hella sick in a 4 hour period.
unfortunately, i had to come into work the next day despite having a fever.
there is good news though.
I GOT COOKIES IN THE MAIL!!

i'm feeling better today.
i slept well last night and didn't have to wake up at 5:30am.

i made this today.
lets just say that i often have a lot of time to kill at work.

ps. it appears that i'm back to being the only day of the week on here.
i was just taking a look through the archived girls and both Wednesday and Sunday are in there. There used to be a Tuesday, but i think she was a member, not a model.

::edit:: i didn't even realize there had been a Monday and Friday is still active. yay! also, i discovered member Saturday.

i would just like to say that i've had the inside of both my upper and lower lips tattooed with virtually no problems, but the surface lip tattoo was shockingly painful. beware.

and so, to answer your questions. no they don't show during daylight at all. in fact, they are invisible after approximately 6 months. HOWEVER, everyone is different and if you're prone to scaring, that might be an issue. ALSO, there are many tattoo artists that will not tattoo with black light ink because some of the initial formulas had wretched results. things like... turning brown.... insane itching.... etc and had to be cut back out of whoever had them.

i've had the ones in my face for 1.5 years and the knuckles for 6 months now with no problems.

it's 3-D and i think that's fancy. we hung it over the tiny television in our living room so people won't be able to ignore it, thus insuring the appreciation that it deserves.

we had a VERY needy prop stylist assistant in the studio the other day who might have had the hots for me. we both had stretched ears which is probably what made him think we had something in common.
he asked me for every little thing rather than having some autonomy and looking for it himself. annoying.
anyway, he came back the next day to pick things up, which of course he spread out over the course of the day and to bring me these



because he *used* to make jewelry and had *quite* a following.
NOTICE THE HEARTS? i did.
don't get me wrong, i don't mind being hit on. i'm not so rapt with self-importance that i find the prospect of being hit on my someone i don't fancy appalling. its just that this guy could NOT take a hint. i could see where he was heading and kept things as brief and professional with him as possible. almost to the point of curtness, but no dice. he just kept bugging me and kept bugging me and then came back the next day and bugged me some more.
the matter appeared to be settled on day two when he met my boyfriend who had stopped by to eat lunch with me.

speaking of my boyfriend, he found our favorite tequila in pint-size!



this is only ONE of an impromptu, several picture homage to the only baby we can love as our own.

one last thing.
ever since i dyed my hair red, i feel like it makes my eyes look the same color, which is pretty cool.

granted they didn't cost any more than anywhere else, but with no extra effort at all, the entire ass blew out of them during the first wear.
tragically, i was sitting at a desk all day, not riding a horse on the beach or being ravished in an elevator.

i have a new awesome job as a photography studio manager. i work at a GIANT (4500 sq ft) loft in manhattan that is fully-functional. lots of middle-aged women's magazines shoot here because the white, airy brightness fits their aesthetic.
anyway, i have LOTS of down time during the day so here i am being professionally professional.



what's everyone doing for thanksgiving?
it looks like all the mister and my friends are leaving town. he works in food service so he might have to work anyway, but i'm pretty sure i won't have to.
i'm not sure what to do with myself....
