w00t!
what did i do today?
oh yeah!
the phone kept ringing this morning, it was weird. either way, fortunately, one of those calls was a good one.
my university's bookstore called today and asked if i could come in to fill out some rehire paperwork. hmm... let me think about it.... HELL YEAH.
i told her i'd be there in an hour. biggrin
so, i probably won't work for a few more weeks, but i'm an employee again. yay!
after visiting the bookstore to get all the paperwork out of the way, i headed to zumiez to turn in my SECOND application. it pays to have a plan B. hopefully i'll hear back from them sometime next week.
also, i talked to the guy that's been dicking me around since august. he owns a small business right off campus, a sort of... gift/import store, which i thought would be cool to work at. he seems to think that he'll be able to hire two people part time sometime soon, but then again, he's been saying that a for almost 10 months now. i'm not holding my breath.
all i can say is, one job? w00t! more than one job? double w00t! i'm down with having no social life but enough one dollar bills to sleep on at night this summer. biggrin
hell, maybe i'll just get all my money in pennies and make a penny roll tower. that'll make me feel rich. naw... quarters. it's all about the quarters.

think i want to see a movie tonight. started to watch 'sleepy hollow' last night, but the boy and i were fading fast and didn't make it all the way through.
any of you ever see 'the new guy'? i promise i won't laugh if you did. biggrin

didn't we have the movie conversation already? I thoroughly enjoyed both Sleepy Hollow and the New Guy. And furthermore - I know a prestigious film critic who liked the New Guy - but I won't mention his name to save his job. smile

Get the one dollar gold coins. Fill a fish bowl or small chest with them. It will look like Pirate Booty. I started to do that. But lost my job. It was so good to have those extra dollars lying around.

Ah, yes, Sleepy Hollow, the movie that featured Christopher Walken in redundant fright make-up. And I actually kinda liked The New Guy. DJ Quails and Eliza Dushku? What's not to love.

Congrats on the employment. Seems as though things are looking up.

w00t I got job today to and with all my spare time spent training to snowboard, all I will do is save money. Because I will need almost a grand and a half of new gear next season, ouch. but it will be worth it. Full time factory work pays good so as long as I stick to a simple spending plan (beer and weed) I think will have a good amount saved up.biggrin

Hell yes, I saw The New Guy! Not in theaters, though. Considering how bad I expected it to be, it pleasantly surprised me. And hey, cameos by Henry Rollins and Vanilla Ice. w00t and a half.
