Happy Mabon, SG!
Mabon begins with the movement of the Sun into Libra at 8:46AM PDT this morning, signaling the Fall Equinox!
This is a harvest festival, celebrating the gathering of the full harvest, and is often accompanied by a feast, with a special focus on rich bread representing the energies of the Harvest God, who has died and gone into the grain to fill it with life energies for the nourishment of his wife, the pregnant Moon Goddess, and all of his children (us). This solar energy point is the equivalent of Last Quarter Moon.

I know the lighting and general Mac PhotoBooth quality suck, but LOOK at my new space cat scene!
I'll post better pics asap.
And if you look very closely you'll see that I got my ears tattooed - the right with a bird, and the left with some cherry blossom branches.
Again, the quality is dismal, so they probably look like blobs here, but they are wonderful, and SO detailed for ear tats!
I also had a beautiful necklace etched on Isis, the Siamese cat on my ankle, but I'll have to post that one when I get better light.

Hello Kitties!
A lot's happening in my world, but I finally got my 3rd eye pierced - with a dermal anchor by Shawn O'Hare at the SF Body Art Expo!
with fancy manicure:
And I had my sternum redone, as my previous anchor had migrated out.
Sorry for the redness and overall poor quality of the images; I'm using MAC Photo Booth.
The bruise is real, though. It is a fresh piercing, and the piercer has to grab the skin firmly to push the anchor in.
Once it's healed I'll get a larger, more elaborate piece, but for now I want to keep the bling to a minimum. My last anchor was oddly attractive to Isis, who treated it like a tick and tried to pull it out!
Here is my new lower leg cattoo of my jungle hybrid cat, Selket, balancing on my Siamese kitty's tail in a Little Miss Muffet-inspired scene. Those are goldfish on her dress:
