Here in Vegas already, but the scene is pretty cool. Hung last night with the Dark Future Music people (Gothic Radio). Apparently the fashion show tonight is lame, but it gets better this weekend. Also, if you do come into town, you have to go to the Double Down. Everyone is spilling out of the C9 stuff and ending up there. Last night was a blast... goths of every sort mixing with punkrockers and making this giant Psycho-Billy melting pot. And they have Toy Dolls on the juke box.

did you have any luck??? you can come ride my magic bus if you want...it can transport people from place to place fairly quick....

My Pal Is a chopper Pilot he Could take ya...um...but it wouldn't be gas money he asked for...so I don't think you want that kind of hassle sorry

brass rail seems plenty "freak"-ish now... you've got half-dressed people dancing, people who will take off clothes if you tease them; regular drag shows, etc. plus it's 1/2 to 2/3 gay & lesbian club (don't know if it used to be) but i've only witnessed some of this...some is from stories i've heard

C9 is basically over now. As a whole, I think the majority of the people were unempressed. The problem remains, Vegas isn't the right town for the crowd. Rockabilly shows work great (Viva Las Vegas) and punk rock shows too, but the goth crowd needs a less neon and buffet food scene and more gardens, architecture and cafes. If that makes any sense. As I have said many times before, especially when I was still living in the bay area, Vegas is wrong. Do it in Seattle, or SF or something that has the right atmoshpere. I guess it's just that the people that organzed the first one were all from SF so the wanted to get the hell outta town.

Anywho... if you went I hope you enjoyed it. If not, don't worry, you didn't miss too much.
