We had another meeting today; some of the committees have already done a glorious shitload of research. We had a show of hands to see what the tendency is, whether we want to go on unemployment, buy, or rent while we're getting this co op together. I'Il leave you in suspense.
We also voted on a name, knowing that while we can be subtly witty, we can't get too cute if we want to put the thing on a "straight" resume in the future. How much would we need to take it over? $500,000. Needless to say (so why do I say it?) the fundraising committee is busy.

i think what you are doingf is amazing... i did fundraising for a non-profit for the last four years and know what kind of a commitment it is... it takes a wonderful soul to think just as much about their community and the world itself as they do themselves... i have since left my job and am looking for my soulful inspiration still... im patient... but i too will change my world...

i worked for a non-profit that supports diversity and integrity in the film industry. its called the ifp. we educate indies an how to beat the system and the odds... kind of a kick ass group. ive never worked with such a diverse (racially and taste wise) group of people... it was great! but i grw out of it... i was no longer challenged and the job got a bit stale... time for bigger... and soon- better.

OK....but if I go to Broadway and Kearny in Tuvalu and you aren't there, well.... I'd probably have a good time anyway, because I love to travel and, I've never been to Tuvalu...
I love RAW..he is one of my favorites. I just pre-ordered the "Maybe Logic" DVD. I love his non-dogmatic approach to things.

$500000 by May? I think it can be done. Sounds like there's a lot of backing and support for the Lady. Curious to know what kind of "straight" name you came up with.
