I wish you all peace & love (call me a hippie; I'll say, "whatever") and overwhelming JOY in 20*13*!
Don't forget our dead; they fought for our lives...the out LGBT youth, the sex workers fighting for everybody's rights by standing up for their own, often in bleak conditions, the soldiers who feel conned and stuck, and perhaps someone you know and even love.
Have faith (loaded word, I know) in the impossible while nurturing your limitations so that you may open the ways to transcension.
We'll appreciate what we have and think about what others haven't due to the injustice that caused oppressive distribution - then make a change where we can, examining our privilege while nurturing our challenges so that we may grow strong.
I wish we could get out of this "spin cycle," and a wish can turn to action with enough motivation. Human drama can fall away and leave the bare essence of us to activate change and show a path that had been obscured.
Celebrate this incipient Gregorian year with appropriate introspection while extending a hand to those who are lonely, ill, or feeling unloved.
