I've always looked at the #13 as a contrarian and chosen to consider it lucky. Friday, it played out rather well. I normally metro into the office, but opted for a bike ride for the first time in over a month on a somewhat cooler morning. As it turned out there were two fires in the main station on the Metro line I normally take. I was pretty darn happy about making the different choice. A lot of other folks had a miserable Friday the 13th!
