yes, it is very comfortable. however, the secret is making sure your stud shaft is long enough (tee hee!). if i take the chain off of my medusa, the screw is a little long (not much) but i can pull it in and out with my tongue easily. if i have the chain in, it fits snuggly against the back of my upper lip. so you might have to get a longer shaft to accomidate it, but it shouldnt be a problem. well, at least its not a problem for me. thanks for your kind words ;*
