In typical fashion as soon as I have a bit of money I start figuring out how to get rid of it. It's like I'm allergic to cash.
I wish I had some pictures of 4th of July at Pops, but I spent the entire evening behind the bar. It was super fun; one of the most enjoyable nights of bartending I've had in my short career so far. Tuffy wore a white Elvis costume ("it's the Aloha From Hawaii Special jumpsuit!" my Elvis nerd boyfriend pointed out), I wore a red white & blue bikini top under an Iron Maiden tee shirt with no sleeves. My co-bartender Nikki wore a Budweiser one piece swimsuit. She looked adorable. And that is what American Independence is about: our freedom to wear bathing suits as cloths.
This Saturday was my other bar's 3rd anniversary party. That was really fun too, but in a very Marin way: lots of bros, lots of bro-ettes, lots of Mardi Gras beads and Red Hot Chili Peppers on the jukebox.
Now I'm trying to convince Subrosa to pay for a Showtime subscription so we can have The Franchise viewing parties.

Tonight I introduced Matt to the magic of drinking hot broth out of a coffee mug. This has been a habit of mine for a long time and now he is sold on it too. It's like tea but salty!
Tomorrow I get to work at Pop's during the Fourth of July festivities. I am very pumped. It is my favorite place to spend my favorite holiday.

People who live in San Francisco are more interesting than people who live in the 'burbs. This is my completely unscientific, anecdotally-supported opinion.
I'm trying to figure out how to just make the music in itunes match the files in my itunes music folder in finder. It doesn't seem to just automatically put everything that's in itunes music into itunes? Why? I hate this kind of problem. Having a mac greatly reduces the frequency with which I have to figure out what file is where and why, but it still comes up.
Edit: It seems to have something to do with DRM which is really frustrating. Seriously, my boyfriend and I EACH have to buy a copy of a song in order to have it on both our itunes/ ipods? I know this is old news but what a load of bullshit.

My boyfriend hates hip hop so naturally I want to listen to it constantly. But I suck at finding new music myself. Currently all I have in my itunes is: wu-tang clan, NWA, Dorrough, L'Trimm, Public Enemy, Curren$y, Yelawolf, Dirt Nasty, and Jay-Z. Also for some reason Itunes has classified DRI as hip hop which I find amusing. So anyway, help me find awesome new rap.

I shot a new set with Bob today! Well, she shot the pictures, I stood there trying not to look lame. I think I succeeded. It's totally different from my last set with Bob - the background is green instead of blue
