Have I mentioned that I hate my job?
I've been here fifteen minutes...
FIFTEEN!
And my boss is already pissing me off

I went to the Jamiroquai concert last night! It was so good!
We arrived a few hours late, so we only got to see The Avalanches as support. Found a nice spot on the hill and got cosy.
Then this chick comes and sits almost on me. I'm thinking wtf, move over!

I was a bit disappointed he didn't sing Virtual Insanity... but oh wellio.
Here's some shots of the crowd.. absolutely MASSIVE

In front of me

To the left of me

To the right of me

And me.. sweating my ass off on an incredibly humid and balmy queensland night!

Yesterday afternoon, I decided not to go straight home. Instead I visisted my mum at work, then went to the shopping centre.
But in my travels, I passed this sign and it triggered the memory;

This happened in January 2004.
"Police are investigating the stabbing of a 17-year-old female last night. About 10.30pm, witnesses observed a grey sedan being driven outbound on the **** ***** Freeway. At the ***** Road exit, the vehicle struck a road sign at speed before veering off the roadway near the intersection with **** Road.
A witness observed the driver of the vehicle stabbing a female passenger. The offender has then driven back towards the freeway through oncoming traffic and has collided head on with a sedan.
The female passenger was located deceased on the passenger side floor of the sedan. Police investigations are continuing."
You hear about so many awful things happening in this world... and this one really stuck with me.
Happening so close to my home, and to a girl who was preparing to go back to school for her final year.
She'd just gotten back into the country, hadn't even seen her family yet. The boyfriend picked her up, and massacred her.
It just makes me sick.
