We're in LA.

The flight wasn't too bad, but I only managed a very short nap. Lachy hasn't slept at all.

We're pretty fucking tired, and we can't check into our room for another 3 hours.

I can't even think of what else to say because my brain has just given up.

I'm sure you've all seen the accent thing going around.

I've gone to start so many journal entries lately. I even get a few paragraphs in, and I realise nobody is going to give a fuck about my ramblings.

In summary, I'm considering a very large tattoo cover up in the coming years. I'm also looking into getting laser removal for a small section of my chest tattoo.

My holiday to the US is all sorted. Only 11 more sleeps til we leave.

We may look at taking a day trip to Boston, and we'll probably do some adventuring in Jersey.

It looks like we're cutting Chicago and Philadelphia from our itinerary due to financial reasons.

If you caught my last journal entry, I was let go from my job. I've been unemployed for a week now, and getting a temporary job between now and my holiday seems unlikely.

I'm pretty gutted. There's a lot of awesome SG folk in Philly.

We will however be spending roughly two weeks in NYC. So if anyone from Philly is able to come down to NYC, I'd be super stoked to hang out.

Didn't things change over the weekend.

- I'm no longer employed
- Cherry Trash and Mr Trash will no longer be accompanying us to the US

Tomorrow I'll be updating my resume, and trying to book an appointment at the hair salon. I need to make myself "corporate" presentable again.

Hopefully I can score some temporary work for the next few weeks.

I've had so many punches thrown at me this year, and I'll be damned if I'm letting anything get in between me and my holiday.

I'm bummed that we won't be traveling as a foursome, but I know we'll get another chance.

Prepare yourself America. 7 weeks until cherrytrash, MrTrash, my partner and I arrive!!

Lachy and I are likely to take a day trip up to Boston to go to Fenway Park.

I want to know ALL the awesome things to see, do and eat. I want to know about food challenges, and awesome bars. I wanna know local stuff as well, not just the usual touristy things.

I want it to be holiday time already, but the thought of it also makes me nauseated! As the weeks go on, I'll save more money, and I'm sure I'll feel more excited, less nauseated.

Accommodation, sights.. bla bla bla.

We're considering adding Boston to the list. Lachy really wants to go to Fenway Park. What else is there to check out in Boston?
