I decided to start reading a book. It keeps me from laying in bed, thinking awful, and potentially irrational things, then ultimately crying myself to sleep.
I've lost confidence, and trust. I thought I was growing up, and that this time would be different.
Now I find myself in a delusional state, preparing myself for the worst.
I'd love to expand on these thoughts and feelings further, but I'm being superstitious. If I don't 100% put it out there, then it won't happen.
This probably doesn't even make sense.
Nothing makes sense.

We've been back for almost a week now. It's depressing. I miss the US, and the friends we made.
I am somewhat glad to be home. Mostly because we had about US$10.00 left by the time we got home.
If you ever get the chance to go to Santa Monica, hit up the Cabo Cantina on the promenade, and ask for a Jumping Bean. I have no idea what's in it.. apart from a lot of alcohol.

The gent you see in the following photo, is Johnny. He works at the hostel we stayed at in LA, and I love the shit out of him!

San Diego still included shenanigans, but I managed to get a few more happy snaps.. and ride some chess pieces..
Lachy tried the 12 egg omelet challenge at Broken Yolk.. he failed, and we no longer speak about it.

Leaving Los Angeles tonight to start the journey back home to Australia.
It's been a blast! Part of me doesn't want to go home, but part of me is ready.

I'm not sure if I mentioned it, but we had such a great time in LA the first time, that we decided to cut our trip short in New York City, and head back to LA.
Tonight will be our last night, but our flight doesn't leave until late tomorrow night.
I think we're heading to Melrose and the Grove today.

Foo Fighters at Madison Square Garden. They rocked out for three fucking hours, with special guests Bob Mould, and Joan fucking Jett! Yes I know that's not her middle name.

What's happened since my last blog?...
We caught up with Matty for his birthday drinks in San Diego. We got ourselves well wasted. One of the best nights I've had since arriving in America.
We didn't stay out too long on Halloween, because we were so fucked from the night before..
After San Diego we headed off to Vegas. We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade at the Flamingo Hotel. I'd booked a nice enough room, but they upgraded us to the Cosmopolitan suite. This suite was fucking massive, and it has a spa bath!

The emergency evacuation plan showed us that we had the biggest room on the floor!

We've now arrived in San Francisco. It's cold!
Our hostel seems pretty awesome. Our room has a queen bed, fridge, microwave, sink, and TV! There's also a pub crawl tonight, but I think we're a little too exhausted at this stage.

Lachy woke up this morning (reluctantly) and his uvula (the punching bag in your throat) is so swollen! He's been smoking and drinking far too much.
He's pretty much been drunk/hungover since we got here.
I had a bender the night before last. I spent yesterday a little hungover myself.
I went for a wander on Hollywood Blvd just before. I got myself a much needed OJ. Shame it was pithy as fuck, but I needed something healthy.
I later found a cafe and got myself a bagel with cream cheese! At the last minute, I spotted a bottle of coke in the fridge. It was Mexican coke! Real sugar!!!!! I couldn't help myself. I needed a fix!
I have a feeling we might be doing a pub crawl tonight, however as we're checking out tomorrow and heading to LA, I'm hoping that it doesn't turn into a massive bender. I don't want to be hungover on the train down to San Diego.
Oh, and I've seen Shifty Shellshock from Crazy Town, and Kat Von D was in her studio yesterday. I was all excited about my D grade celeb sightings!
