So... not only am I sick and having guy troubles, I get into a car accident as well. What the hell? Why did that damn Shell station's carwash have to leak? Thus the fuckin ice on the road... thus the lack of braking ability in my damn tires. Then someone had to run into me too... I hope this is just 09 wearing off! I'll stay optimistic!
Well, I've had a bit of wine with my Room mates and I'm in a somewhat different state of mind. It's interesting, that is for sure! I should put my phone in a safe with a combination that I do not hold when I'm like this. Sheesh.

So I've decided that honesty is truly the best policy. It seems to work out for the best in the end.

What a past couple of months. My mind is in a constant whirlwind of different emotions... and unfortunately, most of them show up whenever the hell they want. I'm tired of being on a roller coaster.
Why do some people have such a hard time with saying what's on their mind?

After my long "Vacation" I am finally back! Haha, I put vacation in quotations because it wasn't really restful, and I think the term is supposed to imply that... It was an Adventure! I fully appreciate the simple things in life now, like: AC, Hot water, Flushing Toilets, Traffic Control, Fluoride in the water for prevention of unsightly smiles... so on and so forth. On the plus side, I did get a facial for $4 and a pedi for about the same. I had to indulge... so cheap!
Philippines was definitely a different part of the world, in many different aspects. It taught me that life is a lot harder than some of us will ever know. My breakfast over there typically just consisted of a bit of bread with instant coffee (6am-ish), and then a little bit of pork or fish with rice for lunch/dinner (4 pm-ish). I'm surprised i didn't completely wither away while there! On the other hand... the gym has been WHOOPING my ass due to my lack of activity and caloric intake. Hmm...
There were positives and negatives to the trip, as with anything... but I thoroughly think that the good outweighed the bad. I got to spend three weeks straight with my whole family... something I haven't done in a while. I got to see family I hadn't seen in sixteen years, and meet family I'd never met before. I got to go to a beautiful beach, lay in the sun, while staying at a hotel almost right on the sand... and at the opposite end got to stay in a house I would consider somewhat unequipped, but that was a mansion in comparison to surroundings. I enjoyed both greatly, though to say I'm not glad to be back would be a lie. :-)

Hey guys! So I'm finally a hopeful, and that feels damn good :-) I've admired SG for years now, and I never had the balls to try it until recently... with a little help from a close friend. He encouraged me, and actually shot my application photos... for which I was extremely grateful.
Other than that I don't know what to say! I'm so excited to finally be on here! A little sad that the day I get accepted as a hopeful I'm leaving for three weeks to the Philippines... but I'll be checking this whenever I log in over there, I'll do my damndest to keep up with everybody... but for the first three weeks please don't think I'm antisocial!
I love to write, so hopefully everyone will be able to tell soon... in the meantime... please let me know what you think of my set!
