Ah summer is here in the Southern Hemisphere.
My garden is green, and the flowers are blooming. Makes the last quarter of my hectic work year bearable, and makes me enjoy my weekends that much more! Time for picnics and outdoorsy things. Hell yeah!

Epic Meal Time would have been proud. We embraced the bacon! And PunkSkunk insists that he is the South African Sauce Boss. Hmm maybe Xaosnyte can be Muscles Glasses? Will have to keep my eye out for some suitable shades.

The first of many to come this summer!

We went to see the awesome and iconic John Cleese! I grew up watching Monty Python and Faulty Towers. English parents, so there is no getting away from it
Needless to say I jumped out of my seat in excitement when I heard that John Cleese was coming here to do an actual show!!
It was called the Alimony Tour, apparently because he has to pay his 3rd ex wife $20 million
Was really funny, kind of like a best of. He showed video clips from his shows and movies and talked all about the Pythons and what it was like working with them. I really enjoyed it. Funniest thing about it was how much he reminded me of my dad! He looks pretty similar as well as having the same way of talking and gestures. Was uncanny actually!
When I told my dad he said that he had always thought he was poorer but better looking lol.







Went to a friends wedding this weekend. It was my first hand fasting.
The bride wore a burgundy dress. I always love brides that like being different and dont go for white

I think all wedding should have cute furry animals.

I managed to offend the brides brother because I was wearing a short dress. Thats a first. For once I was offending someone with my clothes on
He is the type who seems to think that a womens place is where her man tells her it is. Good job he isnt dating me
Wonder what he would have thought about the best man climbing on the roof in nothing but his underpants....

The food was amazing, the music was right down my ally (they even specifically put some NIN on the playlist specially for me ), and the groom makes Mead! So we had a fair amount of that and had a grand old time!

But the best part of the whole wedding for me was when they cut the cake, not just because I love cake but because they played the Portal 1 end song still alive. I love gamer geek weddings.

I recently started a new hobby
After 2 years of talking about doing it, I finally started pole dancing. I love it to bits and I was so proud of my first bruise I took a pic for you lol. (excuse my ungroomed foot and odd angle which makes me look slightly gimpy )



Guess what!! Its that month that all the boys I know long for all year round.... Movember!!
I shall be seeing many carefully cultivated moustaches this month lol.
Its all for a good cause of course, not just to titillate or scare the ladies
I was dutifully informed that I could become a Mo-sister by supporting the cause and I wouldnt have to grow my own tash, phew

The Captain is the best character ever! Most accidentally inappropriate man on earth lol. LOVE IT!
