Put your hands up if you move on a regular basis! I am moving for, like, the 4th time in 2.5 years. It's insane. I'm moving to the ghetto-est place ever. But the apartment is nice. And Shazzy will be a 2 minute walk away, on the not ghetto side of the tracks.
It's my birthday today!!!! Last year of my twenties. Smells like old farts around here!!
I'm having a great day so far. Slept in, ordered breakfast and it was deeelish, went to some awesome craft fairs and supported local artisans by buying their cute, locally made handmade cards and earings and then my bf bought me some bitching cowboy boots!!! Yeeeehaww!
Tonight I'm going bowling then to a strip club!
I think my last year as a twenty-something year-old is going to be amazing, I can feel it. I'm in school and I'll graduate before I'm 30 and I'll bring in my 30s as a whole new woman.
I feel good.

Today I am baking loaves of banana bread and am doing some crafting. I'm being very frugal these days so I'm making things for people for xmass instead of buying things. So I'm stitching snot rags and making homemade xmass tree ornaments. Last year I did a watercolor painting of my nephew and their parents cried they loved it so much. Sometimes spending time on things rather than going into a shop to buy something and getting some stranger to wrap it up is nice. But don't get me wrong, I have all kinds of non-homemade things on my xmass list I'd love, but am not expecting to receive, for xmass.
My birthday is right around the corner. I already got one prezzy. My mom took me to see a BOLLYWOOD production called Bharati at Place des Arts. I've never seen so many colorful turbans and saris and insane dancing in one setting. It was wonderful!!! Sheer bollywood pandemonium. Plus it was nice to go on a mom-daughter date. We're cheesy like that.
So yeah, I'm being frugal because I started hair school. I'm really liking it! I'm going to evening school 3 nights a week for the theory part and in february I'll be going 5 nights a week for the actual practicum part. When I start 5 nights I might have to quit one of my jobs so I'm saving up for the few months I'll be living on a smaller income.
Not too much else is going on. Might be going away on holiday over xmass, courtesy of the boy. We moved in together in July and are enjoying copious amounts of nights in, ordering take out, watching movies and getting fat. It's lovely.
Here's me and Shazzy and our friend Naomi. We dressed up in stripper pants and acted like retards.

Oh I thoguht my fellow twilight lovers might like this. I stumbled across it in a graveyard this summer.

Did I mention I went to a wedding this summer and I stupidly suggested that the guests supply some food since they were doing a budget wedding. I ended up having to make Greek salad for 300 people. Hehe. That'll teach me

And here's me and my man on a rollercoaster. P.S. Did I mention Montreal is the best city in the world?! Not only do we have outdoor and indoor skating rinks, bowling alleys, movie theaters, tonnes of concerts, ballets, theater, great shopping, beautiful parks, sick night life, amazing musuems, the Tam Tams, great universities AND a fucking amusement park?!?!?! Yep. You should come see for yourself.

Here are the pics from my trip to Costa Rica and Panama! Well, here's about 50 of over 700 that I took. Me and my lover went down south to escape the Canadian winter for 3 weeks and we had the most amazing time ever!
We didn't do an all inclusive. We just packed our bags and went from one place to the next, depending on what we felt like doing and how long we wanted to stay in one spot. We made no reservations but ended up finding some absolute gems!
We did a big loop starting in San Jose, Cahuita and Puerto Viejo on the Caribbean coast, down to Bocas in Panama, across Panama staying in David, and up Costa Rica on the other side staying in Zancudo (highly recommend Zancudo), stopping over night in Dominical and Jaco since we travelled by bus and were exhausted, and stayed in Montezuma at the end of our trip to relax and not think about packing up our bags again till we headed home.

It was bliss. So romantic, so adventurous. I'm a lucky girl.
