Or worse, mine like to vomit on the edge of the rugs, so it's half on the rug, half on the floor, and if they can get it into the rug fringe, all the better! At night, the best place is right where you step when you walk to the bathroom in the dark.

You're lucky, ussually it's on the hardwood right beside my bed so I step in it first thing in the morning I tell my wife it's because he loves me more.

I'm SO GLAD it's not just my cat that does this... ALWAYS ON THE CARPET!!!!
