Ohhh I got a new pic in this am from our tour in Germany! This is my new cruelty free faux feather fan dance. I always thought my fans turned out terribly, even know Bettina assured me they weren't crap. But I love this photographer..

It is RAINY and cold here in Seattle.. brrrrr!
I can't wait to escape to Hawaii for 11 days with Bettina. Sure we'll be working but, dude, we have WAY too much fun together.
She's promised me lots of yummy vegan eats and I am bound and determined to get the girls to go hiking and enjoy playing outside.
Tonight I am off to do my photo shoot for the PETA campaign... *cross your fingers for me!*
It's always been one of my life's goals to become a spokeswoman for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. I have lived the majority of my life as an ethical vegetarian (ever since I was 11 & got my hands on a copy of "Animal Liberation" by Peter Singer).
In 8th grade I was expelled from school for protesting the brutal slaying of gophers on my middle school's campus. The school's custodial staff would smoke the animals out of their holes and club them to death in front of a crowd of cheering students when they proved to be a nuisance. I couldn't believe I was the only student who found this absolutely intolerable- a crime against the children to have to witness such an act as well as the senseless & totally unnecessary killing of animals.
In college I was a member of a hardcore sect of the A.L.F.
unfortunately my activism went beyond tabling and handing out Vegan Starter Kits.. and nearly resulted in a large group of us being incarcerated for economic sabotage of the site of horrific animal testing & abuse.
As time goes by I've realized that leading by example is the life that best agrees with my politics.. and creating subtle shifts in people's consciousness by being the best human you can be and living without harming any sentient being is far more radical than militant activism.. even if it feels a lot less punk rock.
I'm not sure if I have a chance since I am not a "LIVE" SG.. but hopefully the stars will align!

I am FINALLY home from an action packed month in Europe filled with Elvis impersonators, Vespas, espresso, vegan pate, fits of hysterical laughter, some seriously overweight pink polka dot luggage, and one to many trips on public transport!
We had sooooooooo much fun.. I don't even know how to begin.

Here's Vienna & I hanging out pre-show in Lisboa, Portugal.

Bettina, Vienna & I hanging with Charly the tattooist from Hamburg.

Me on the couch at Divan Du Monde in Paris, after our show
More to come soon!

Ok... let's see
I'm back from MAGIC in Vegas. I had the privilege of working with a few other SGs while I was there, Maverick (super sweetheart) and the amazingly hot and wicked good time, Zoli.
*P.S... I think I am in love!*
The show in BC @ Lucky Bar went well other than some boarder crossing trouble. The fucking boarder police were hip to us, and almost didn't let me into Canada! Yikes! But the show was fun.. Bettina did her new TAXI DRIVER number and per her request I learned "Bye Bye Baby" the night before the show. We had some SG members front and center the whole night. totally cool! Didn't recognize them, but way to represent with your SG shirts in the front row! We gave them lots of Glam-O-Rama Prizes!
My car is still in the shop.. I might not get it out before I go to Europe, but whatever! I have a sweet ass rental car!
I have a few video and photoshoots planned prior to leaving the country for a month.. so I will post whatever I get before I depart for a fun filled month with some of the hottest ladies & SGs i know..
It looks as though we have been added to the Milan show with SG Reina. And a shoot with ALbertine is in the works while we visit Italy.
I can't believe we get on the plane for London in 8 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

someone hit & ran my car this weekend.. such a bummer
i had to stand in the rainy cold until 6am waiting for Seattle PD to even respond to the 6 phone calls I made for help
now i have no car

Is it terrible that I secretly want to kill the neighbor children? All they do is scream and throw trash around on my property.. they crash into my car on their bikes, and they are constantly ON MY PROPERTY! I have to be that mean old neighbor lady and tell them to get off my porch or outta my back yard twice daily.
Don't get me wrong, I love children.. especially when they are well behaved and not screaming and ruining my morning..
hahahaha! I think I need some coffee!

* it seemed like time for an Update-
First of all I am peeing my pants right now because next month I've booked my burlesque troupe in Europe, so i get to go galivant all over the place with my best buddies! Shimmy Magazine has asked that we write a tour diary while we are out on the road, so that will make 3 consecutive issues I've appeared in.. (Don't worry, I'll use spellcheck!)
Exciting even if it is only a tiny burlesque magazine, it's all we've got!
I'm going to dye my hair hot pink and wear Girl About Town lipstick and my new cateye glasses everywhere and pretend to be a hollywood starlet.
I've got 2 tattoo sessions booked, so i am hoping to get my back all finished before I go.. at least all the foreground and both my cheeks. I feel so uneven with only half my ass tattooed!
My lil Sis is PREGNANT! HOw exciting! It's the first new generation of our family. I am so pumped!
One of the songs I wrote with The PRESIDENTS of THE USA is going on the new album they just recorded, so that's pretty sweet. I liked MY version better, but whatever..
I also got some offers to appear in some other international publications, which are very cool- Tatuajes Mag out of Mexico that Amina & Twwly have been covergirls for and Origin'elles - a new French Rockab Magazine that SoLadyCat runs!
I'm also working at MAGIC this year in Vegas thanks to Midnyte. She helped me to get in touch with a designer she works with who wants me to help with modeling and promotions. I've never been, but it sounds like a lot of fun.
Let's see.. at the end of Aug. Bettina & I are shooting and doing another show @ the Lucky BAr and another installment of our Pin Up Girl Workshop in Victoria.
So no, I wont be out with El Vez this fall- but I'm planning a REALLY kick ass couple of months! After Europe I head to Hawaii for ton of shows with Cherry Blossom Burlesque & the Hell Caminos!
xoxoxo!
