So CookNicole & I did a new shoot on Thrsday.. we had sooooooo much fun. I got super 70s and hilarious. Can't wait to show it off. This weekend I am playing in OLYMPIA, WA with my band..

This Saturday there is a special ballroom dance at the Olympia Eagles Ballroom. The Queen of Hearts & her Royal Flush Band is playing for USA DANCE OLYMPIA'S Spring Fling. This band played for the Ballroom Blitz at the Emerald Queen Casino in January and wowed those in attendance. Among the comments I heard were: "This band is very danceable and reminds me of Pink Martini" (from a
lady) and "Yowza, Yowza, Yowza" (from a man). Those who saw them
are looking forward to having another opportunity to dance to their music (and
see their show). A couple emailed me recently: "That band is really
good; so glad you got them booked!!

USA DANCE OLYMPIA chapter's Spring Fling. Arrive at 7 PM for a Night Club 2
Step lesson by Char Alexander and Alan Provencher. Dance from 8 to 11 PM to live
music by the Queen of Hearts & her Royal Flush Band. This band recently
played for the Ballroom Blitz at the Emerald Queen Casino. The music mix is
generally Fox Trot, Waltz, Swing (East and West Coast), Cha Cha, Rumba, Tango,
and Night Club Two-Step. Special waltz performance by the Black Hills Shufflers
dance team choreographed by Char & Alan. Admission is $10 for the general
public, $7 for members of any USA DANCE chapter and students. All ages welcome,
singles & couples. This dance is in the upstairs ballroom of the Olympia
Eagles, 805 4th Ave E, Olympia. For info call 360-561-4872.
