Ok, I'll give you another quiz. And another less-clothed photo if for good guesses. So, do you know about Operation Impact in NYC? It's a Bloomberg program, which deploys rookie cops to certain neighborhoods just after they graduate from the training academy. So where do you think these nervous novices get sent? Is it like training wheels, are they sent to easy spots to learn the ropes, or thrown in the deep end? Name one neighborhood they go.
Good luck!

Penn Station at midnight on a Friday night is a bizarre and creepy world. Sat down on the A train across from a man jabbering about how he could take a guy out with just his scarf, or take 3 guys out, or 4 if he had a pistol. He liked my long socks, and switched between commenting on them and threatening to kill people with his scarf. When he left, a stout woman in a brown vellure jumpsuit and slippers got on, started pole dancing in front of me, and walking back and forth shouting "white girls, white girls, white girls" (I was the only one.) Then she sat down right next to me and said "I tried to draw you. But I skipped fifth grade so it didn't work. But I tried to draw you - see?" She showed me a pen. No paper.
"That's nice," I said noncommittally, trying not to engage or be rude.
"ISN'T it? See, I'm polite."
"Yes... that's nice."
"Yes, that IS nice."
Then she paced through the rest of the car, came back and sat next to me again, kicked my backpack, talked to me some more, threw a penny at my face, and walked off.
Nice welcome back to the city....

Snow! What started off as dull and endless rain has morphed into big wet flurries - winter's coming! And Halloween! I can't figure out what to be - I want to be some kind of exotic wildcat, like a servil, ocelot, fossa, or sandcat... something really obscure and specific. But I don't have it in me to do the costume justice.
I do have this rad shirt that I never have an excuse to wear, so maybe I'll just put on all the things I rarely have occasion to wear and shave a lightning bolt in my hair and call it a day. Ideas? What are you guys gonna be?zoom imagezoom image

Despite an endless downpour, things are looking up. You find ways of categorizing different emotions, registering them as they come along, and then filing them away in the right folder and shutting the drawer until you have time to deal with them. School takes precedence over moping around, when it has to, and when it doesn't, I mope around. And the rest of the time I'm out on the town, remembering how good it is to laugh 'till your face hurts and drink 'till your head hurts and watch morning light creep cloudily over the peaked rooftops in the gentle, constant rain.

People talk about evenings being romantic, but I've always thought there's something pretty sensual about morning light.
