Hrmmm.....in other news, I went vegan for my eating habits and I feel incredible. Been about 8 months as a vegetarian and a couple months as a vegan. It's really easier than it looks, especially if you eat whole foods. I figured it was the most sustainable and kind type of diet that I could possibly undertake.

Some things that influenced/provoked me into thinking about how what I eat could change the world:

So there's some links just in case you're interested or curious about where your food comes from. I know that if I hadn't kind of bumped up against Forks Over Knives during research for my friend's cancer diagnosis I would still be eating a whole bunch of things that didn't personally serve me and my goals.

Please note that this is not a blog trying to change your mind about how you choose to eat or take care of yourself, only a journal that has some links to another set of useful information for those who are seeking knew knowledge.

It makes me so sad to see a sister stripper be treated so horribly.
I have a column on 21st Century Burlesque and yesterday's installment dealt with bullies in burlesque.

I'm hoping that more people outside of the scene will read it so that they can understand more about the issues that us strippers are dealing with.

It's never ok to treat someone horribly.

Monday I fly to Helsinki for the Helsinki Burlesque Festival, teaching in Stockholm, Sweden and then performing in Basel, Switzerland.
