Wanna know things about my neighbors?
My neighbor across the hall is a flight attendant who likes smoking mediocre weed and ordering shoes in the mail. We talk about make-up and what is on TV in the afternoon.
My neighbor downstairs is a paranoid diabetic with a serious Philadelphia accent, he always argues with the land lady and never ever talks to me about anything but booze, The Ramones, and JFK.
The new Frat boys turned out not to be frat boys at all but a gay couple who are trying to adopt a baby from China, the funnier one just lost his mom in japan so i have been bringing them dinner.
The guy at the end of the hall is a creep and a formally famous photographer
The lady with 2 pugs is so cute I want to give her a sitcom, she has an amazing apartment. and gets 3-5 packages a month
The Artist is not very talented, but he is really an accountant so i guess thats ok. He hates when you play music, has eyes that are really far apart and i hate him.
The guy in the front apartment has lived here for 3 years and never said a word to me untill last night. He has a bowl cut. I thought he would be Slovakian (I'm good at guessing who is slovakian) but he is from Pittsburgh.
The English couple are very english and sometimes invite me for a sherry. I don't like Sherry but I love them, so i always come. They collect art and have a dog named Clover and a ton of great old records.

Hello my everyones and everythings,
Have you seen Singing In The Rain? It is so sentimental and saccharine and trite, but it is also hypnotic and wonderful and funny.
Don Lockwood (the Gene Kelly character) was my first real crush. I remember putting my tiny face right on the screen so that Mr Lockwood turned into a million tiny perfectly round brightly colored jewels, The fuzzy electric feeling that i felt when putting my face on my families 15 inch set is a feeling i still get, purely through memory when i see something overwhelmingly beautiful.
I couldn't understand, couldn't wrap my tiny mind around how gentle and funny Don could be in love with that perky Debbie Reynolds and not me, or at least the sexy and funny Lena Lamont.
Do you remember that steamy hot last number? With the amazing dancer in the green dress and the strange colors and the sexy jazz? and the awesome and incongruus scene (dream?? love montage?) with Gene wrapping his lover/partner in endlessly long silk scarves. It was to much for my heart to handle.
As a grown up I still get Dons appeal, funny, dashing, brave, romantic, gentle and warm all the things that still warm me to a man.
I caught myself humming one of the songs today, and thinking about how wonderful and terrible it is being in love with a character on a screen. And remembering that that is actually the plot of the damn movie.
So tell me kids, who was your first on screen crush?

A blog is sometimes intimidating, especially here.
Suri has to be engaging without giving to much away, and sometimes I feel like if I write anything I'll write everything that i won't be able to stop.
I want you to know me and i want to know you, but it is dangerous for me to give to much away. Like a spy i want you to fall a bit in love with me, but i can't revel my own secrets.
So i try to be honest without giving away the whole truth (two steps forward...)
I want to show my real feelings and thoughts and loves without opening the floodgates (i have never seen a flood gate) and drowning us all in the sweet but sad mundane details of my real life. Ah the difficult life of a naked lady with a blog.

My trip to Florida is coming soon, and i am kinda excited and kinda nauseous. Something about the sunshine state makes me not just nervous, but completely on edge. Like a spelling bee, wrapped in a first date, wrapped in a job interview. I feel like everybody there are either the girls who bullied me in middle school or my bitchy great aunt who always tells me i am getting fat.
But Harry Potter world is in Florida, and as an obnoxious potter nerd i have to make pilgrimage.
I am gonna drink butter beer, i am gonna eat all the candies, i am gonna have hotel sex, i am gonna get a wand and i will share awful pictures of me in nothing but my new HP gear
