Hello my Velvet Undergrounds and Nicos,
I know I have been gone, and i'm sorry my doves.
My computer is busted and i won't have it for a week.
But in the meantime i have been sulking around the city. Wearing to much eyeliner for an adult.
Philadelphia is a great city for mopeing around, its old and tough and it's very very dirty, and it has a great combination of dark "jack the ripper" alleys and broad open "face in a crowd" streets. I have been feeling very cinematic in my black coat and high heels. Like Sofia Coppola was directing a misguided and terrible short about my moody week.
Mopeing brings out the romantic in me, and therefore the pop fan in me, so I have been very fond of mopey mushy songs, and oddly attached to this strange bubble gum pop song
and this pretty little number

i've been moping around the city too. I think it's the weather. It should decided if it's going to be warm or cold already.. also it doesn't help when it gets dark at 4:30 in the afternoon
