its latke week!!! The most fried foody week of my year!
so far I made and ate.
sweet potato and hot pepper latkes with avocado lime sauce (i am breaking my only cook local food rule, but you understand right?)
donuts
fried chicken
mozzarella sticks
all of them were fried, all were really tasty.
what my doves are you eatting? what is your favorite fried thing?

I miss my mom's latkes so much, and although entirely different, yours sound delicious. I also miss making soufganyot (So terribly transliterated... jelly doughnuts. I think I wrote it similarly to how it's said). You have given me an excuse to make tasty mozzarella sticks though, so thank you!

Every time I see the tv spots, I think of Dances With Wolves (innnnn SPAAAAAACE!) Won't stop me from seeing it, however.

latkes! i have some in my freezer (trader joe's for the easy) but my fave fried thing ever would have to be onion rings.
