I would love to have some homemade apple pie! That's one of the downsides of being single with no real family. No home cooked food.

slept most of the day,
and then finally woke up to watch
the awful war of the worlds
what a wasted fucking day.

did have good food though
including -- dig it -- apple pie & vanilla cream
so not entirely wasted day, but close.

back to work tomorrow, and I can' wait... drago

Hope it was a good day I spent it with non-vegans for the first time in over 10 years (ie family) But they were very nice and cool about the vegan thing.

i lived in ny before, near ithica. don't know where in ny you're going but there is deffiniatly some beautiful scenery in that state.

wow. ny huh? thats near me by about an hour and a half. what are you doing in nyc??? i love pumpkin pie..i think im making one for christmas. my husband and i spent thanksgiving driving home from virginia beach and we had a lovely thanksgiving feast of grilled cheese and mashed potatoes at the little restaurant in the middle of the chesapeake bay on the bay bridge tunnel. not a very good veg selection there but it was nice to be eating on the water like that. a nice little pigeon friend flew up to the window where we were sitting and watched us eat for a little bit. the only time i ever went to any of those crazy black friday sales was when i worked at the mall and i got a new remote control at radio shack for $9 while i was on my break. i never understood why people get so crazy on this day and wait in lines for stuff all night. its silly to me.
