i hate when you have to do stupid tattoos on people! ive just started so ive tattood about 10 people at most, and so far ive done a foot ball jearsey, tinkerbell and 2 hearts joined with a banner, all the while thinking "your an ass for getting this"

Cherry Creek does drive me crazy sometimes. Why is it so popular? I thank goodness that I work at a 95% custom shop. It has been incredibly rare lately that I have to do flash. Unfortunately, tis the season for no customers. . . I have this one awesome dude that I started a backpiece on tonight, and he will be my bread and butter through the holidays, I think.

I like Benjamin Moss's portrait work the best. But did you see the one he did of the hand with no skin!! Fucking creepy!!
I like that if you look at the big big versions of his tattoos (click on the thumbnail, then again on the bigger version) you can see that he's actually 'painting' with his needle. He uses color, shapes, and lines to make you think there are lines, shading, and colors that aren't there.

Don't you breathe this sigh of relief when you're talking to a customer and you succeed in getting them to let you do something custom instead of whatever they picked out on the wall?
