The drama never ends. It just becomes easier to distinguish. I'd like to apoligize for the comment i made previously. Womens' self image is something that distresses me very much. Today, i talked to two coworkers of mine about why "losing weight" should not be a priority in its own right, but instead gaining the self confidence that may be lacking (no fault of their own mind you) when questions of self image come into play. It pains me to see people hurt themselves (mentally or otherwise) to gain a (poorly) preconceived image of attractiveness. You started a great point, and instead of contributing, i degraded it by trying to interject humor. For that, im sorry.
Cake, food, and company is what interesting people do; knowing that their collaborate company will be far more prosperous than any elaborate and superficial event. Sorry about the eye, maybe pink eye? I sleep in my contacts way too much: i know that irritating these things can feel. Don't strain yourself.

Nice video! I watch them and think how much fun they must be having, and at the same time remember learning to ski two winters ago and how I burst into tears at the top of the mountain becuase I thought I was going to die. I am such a whimp. Granted, I had almost fallen off the green trail onto a black diamond and had fake snow blowing into my face, but still, I think crying only succeeded in making my goggles fog up so I could see even less to grab onto to prevent my slip down the wrong path. . . It all turned out OK in the end though. 
Have fun with your friend's birthday dinner. When I threw the party for Deke, it was just a bbq and a sad attempt at a fire. We spent the whole evening around the table talking and avoiding the rain. Us adults might not be as exciting as the youngsters, but we keep ourselves entertained with stupid human tricks, like the hot sauce challenge. *grin*

I read Levi's journal.. sounds about right
we spent a lot of time cutting between our Fortress Of Solitude and Flannegan's.. and definately noticed the increase of armament during the last couple days..
The journal *I* was going to write about the hurricane, maybe wasn't as hardcore and levi's but definately made the one i linked in my journal look like a children's book. fact is, of course we had guns, we wouldn't probably have survived intact if we didn't Matt wrote it in a lot of ways for the sake of his family, and I reposted it in a lot of ways because of the hundreds of emails i was getting each day freaking out about whether we were ok or not. sometime, probably once this thing blows over more, I'll put *MY* account up there, and we'll see what public opinion has to say then
In the meantime, You should REALLY come down for halloween, I've talked to just about everyone and we're all going to be back by then.. with probably many less of the 'undesirables', so it may even be the best halloween ever!!
