I think my stupid dog Chunk sums up how I feel at the moment:

I went to hospital today and had three moles removed from my jaw line tha have been bugging me for ages. I was in and out super quickly and it didn't hurt at all but I always feel like crap after a local and now feel a bit like I've been hot in the jaw with a brick. And I'm able to do that lovely jaw crack that makes people wanna puke, always fun!

Anyways, the last couple of weekends have been pretty hectic!
Last weekend I was all planned to go to Birmingham to go to the 4Q metal radio party...then my car decided to die. But I was so mega looking forward to it, I pulled my finger out for a change and got a rental. And dude, it was so worth it!

River Freshney and the Arnocorps were both AMAZING! If you ever get the chance to see them, DO IT!
I think we may all be banned from Britannia hotels due to our creative mirror storage ideas but oh well! Best night I'd had in ages!

Then this weekend was the SG Brighton meet. And I won't lie...I was nervous as hell about meeting a bunch of new people for the first time but it was mad fun and everyone was so nice! I can't wait to hang out with you guys more soon!

I shall start again...

Last weekend I went to Cologne. Now I haven't been on holiday for about ten years due to a million different reasons so I was MEGA excited! And what did I discover at the airport?
I've aquired a fear of flying, useful! Well, not really flying, taking off and landing really. So after a lot of my mental mantra of 'you're fine, you're fine, you're fine', we got there.

And I knew it was gonna be a good weekend when I saw the name of the street we were staying in! Frankfurter Street!:

It was a good location, we could see the cathedral, had close shops and places to eat...but sod that...we were there for a reason!

And omg, I had the best weekend of my life!
Met some AMAZING people, got mistaken for a hooker, discovered Rockstar energy juice drink (yum!), watched wheelchair breakdance wars, got black dirt up to my knees at club Gloria, had someone scream 'you my Myspace friend!' at me, spent a fortune on vodka and orange, saw some of the most amazing riding ever in glorious sunshine and lived off cheese and ham crepes for the weekend. Who could ask for more?!

I also met Mat Hoffman, I could've died of happiness. I was touched by The Condor, life is good! hee hee. I went with two girly friends who've never watched bmx ever and they had no idea who he was...it was hard to get it across. Think I did a good job with 'he is bmx god.'

It was so crappy to come home to the cloudy uk after such an awesome weekend of sunshine and fun. All I need to do is figure out how I can do that kinda thing all year round and get paid (yeah right!).

So, as I mentioned in my last blog, I managed to get tickets to see the Foo Fighters play Wembley Stadium with about 86,000 other people, so intimate! I had no idea just how fucking huge that place is!



We got there pretty early and got right to the front of the walkway which was awesome! Against Me and Supergrass were the support. Against Me were awesome but are way better in a smaller venue and Supergrass totally sucked ass so we got very bored and took photos of ourselves and the security guy who had an awesome tash!




After being there about 3 hours, the Foos took to the stage and damn, they were worth the wait!



Point and call me 'witch' but I only really took the ticket to see Against Me as I like the Foos but have never been a mega fan or anything but I was so impressed they were awesome! Went home on such a buzz, only to have it killed by being flashed by a speed camera, bastards! Trust me, it was 2 in the morning, doing 50 in a 40 in the middle of the country, I wasn't a menace to society mowing down children outside schools so if I get points for that, I'm gonna go spastic!

Apart from that, there have been two other highlights.

I FELL IN LOVE! WITH....

Well, with the drums to be exact! I need an X Box, now!

The other highlight being the film Super Bad, yeah, I know, I'm waaaay behind but I kinda thought it would be an 'all the funny bits were in the trailer' film but I bloody loved it! Just reminded me of younger days of trying to buy alcohol and being pulled over by the police for the first time, so funny! If you haven't seen it, go watch, now!

Also, just to be annoying, I'm doing the Race for Life at the end of the month and I am actually gonna die doing it and my friends may have to drag my corpse over the finish line but if you could make it worth their while and sponsor me, that would be immense!

It's over, I'm finished. It was my last day of lectures yesterday and it was a small miracle I didn't fall asleep as I've hardly been home since Sunday and I'm shattered! Now I just have to decide whether to go for a top up degree or just work. Bleugh, can't be arsed with thinking sensibly at this point though, far too much effort!

Anyways, last Friday I went to JBears degree show, her main piece was right in the entrance and it was immense! All her stuff is based on the human body and these are etching printf of her mums leg, don't ask me how shoe does it cause I don't have a clue! She's explained it to me but it's way over my head!




Obviously I loved her stuff the best but there was also loads of other mad stuff there!




Then Saturday night was Rich's Birthday. Another awesome night. Jen and I got him the most awesome pair of Nike SB hi-tops with leopard print lining ever! I so wanted to keep them but due to him being the best guy in the whole wide world and me not having size 11 feet, I handed them over



I WANT MY FRIEND DAVE'S GLASSES! Shame he's blind without them.




Then last night we celebrated finishing and most of us leaving Merrist Wood FOREVER! (insert evil laugh/cackle) We went to Wagamamas (yummage!) and onto Spoons and got so trashed it's stupid! I'm not gonna know what to do when Monday morning comes around and I have nowhere to go, lol!



All we have to do all together now is graduation, so sad!

Anyways, there's my week in pictures due to my lack of description abilities! So I'm off to watch the Foo Fighters tomorrow at Wembley (thank you Paul!). I get to see Against Me again too, yay! So who else is going?! Anyone?

Sorry for the lack of bloggage of late. Got until Monday to do three giant assignments, my mammal survey, adaptations survey and practical portfolio . So I've been a tad busy. Plus, all my holiday plans are starting to fall into place at last, so there's all that too!

Anyways, at work a couple of weeks back we had some itsy bitsy teeny weeny kitties dumped on us. So I grabbed one up for my friend Sue



His name is Mr Muggles (of course) and I get to play with him ALL next week when I house sit, yay!

The weekend was lovely as always, did a couple of shoots and went to a red carpet/karaoke birthday party thing. Drink was cheap, I was happy! (although I look grumpy as fuck in the pics, sorry!)



I aquired the best top hat half way through the night but damit, had it taken back off me. What's the world coming to when I girl can't get away with stealing stuff when she's drunk!

Ok, really should get back to dull ol' work .
Next Friday : Opening night of my best mates art show at Brighton Uni (and pay day!)
Sat: Richie's Birthday, yay, he'll be older than me, whoop! I can point and laugh at last! Ok, you're a 26 year old male, what do you want for your birthday?! HELP ME!?

So, the rain was back in Brighton today, boo hiss! Just started going as I joined the queue to get my Great Escape wristbands, only to wait, get soaked and told I couldn't have them til tomorrow

Oh well, Lucero tomorrow!

In the lovely mental sunniness, I spent my Friday and Saturday nights in Brighton. While Friday was just a chill, Saturday was awesome! For future reference Purple Rain cocktail pitchers = random memory loss!

I think we ended up in Oceanas cause that was meant to be the plan but I really can't remember! This is the light above the dance floor, so if anyone recognises it, let me know!

Late night, so early morning and we're up raring to go (sort of) to Give It A Name. Thanks to the guy that mooned us on the way. You know it's gonna be a good day if you get mooned before 9 in the morning I dropped Jen off and booted up to London but my mate was meeting me there, so obviously I get lost, as I do way too often but luckily some nice young ladies picked me up in Sainsburys and we hung out for a while in the sun. So lovely! Eventually Sophie turned up and off we went!


We just chilled at the back for the first lot of bands due to a hangover kicking in and almost puking on a girl while I bought water, nice!, I especially liked You And Me At Six, Armor For Sleep and Silverstein but when Billy Talent came on, we had to hit the pit!


They were amazing, they so should have been the headliners instead of 30 Seconds if you ask me cause they just brought the place alive!


Then, in slight contrast, I have spent most of the beginning of this week, staring at this tree. Can you feel the excitement!



Got a HUGE assignment on the evolutional adaptations to the creatures in our chosen environment (the tree!) So we've had to watch it for hours to see what birds land there, squirrels, crap like that! Nice in the sun but it's gonna suck next week! Then there's soil samples, water PH testing, blah blah blah!

Because of that we get to run through the woods next Monday bat hunting instead of pole dancing like usual, poor bats! Followed by a 'real meat' barbeque. Which is cool cause I hate all this proccess shitty meat you get, don't get me wrong I love meat (insert your own joke) but this stuff's not chained to the floor to keep it soft or stuffed in vans for 93745630 hours and all that jazz, which is nice.

Yesterday I worked the veterinary emergency service as I normally do so I actually got to do some exotics nursing which was awesome cause it feel like I haven't done any in ages, yay for tube feeding tortoises! Then I spent the rest of the day helping decorate J Bear and Rich's flat, I am the Queen of rollers!

Also got my awesome JAKeape from the bloke directly cause I won it at a silent auction at Chessiington Zoo last year

I love it, it's the rarest piece of urban vinyl I have and it has that yummy fresh plastic smell (c'mon, that's a great smell!)

Tomorrow I'm on a roadtrip off to Kent to have an interview about a top up degree in Conservation and Biodiversity. I can't really afford it and I don't think I'll even get acepted as my qualifications are in Animal Managment but it's so what I wanna get into and it's the only place in the UK that does it, so I've gotta have a go! Fingers crossed it goes ok!

Don't you just hate it when you're the only one dressed up properly! I'm with a bunch of strangers who's idea of underwear was short skirts and vests and there's me and Jen kitted up, funny!

Went to London Zoo yesterday too which was pretty awesome!
They'd improved the gorilla enclosure, thank god, cause it was verging on abuse before! And their Biome was stunning!

And now it's almost May and I so can't wait! Give it A Name, Anne's 21st, finishing my HND, more ink planned and Lucero! Yay!
