eeepers....
I was checking my e-mail today and a friend of mine had left me a message. She was working on some dreads for me. (cause I have to change the ones I have in out in about 2 weeks or so) I didn't have time to make 60-80 new dreads in that amount of time so she has been doing them for me.
So anyways....
She e-mails me telling me about how she wants pictures once I braid them in and how she is excited to make dreads for me....and so forth...(she is very sweet)....but then goes on to tell me that out in California, a friend of hers had purchased a photography book and I'm on the cover. ???? As well as on the inside.
And would you believe it, I have no idea what book this is! The only thing I can think of is it is by ZMedia and was shot by Greg Passmore. He is the only photographer I have worked with from CA that was putting out a book. So I'm thinking it must be that! But I can't believe I was never contacted or anything about the release of the book. Isn't that a bit odd??
I e-mailed the publisher today to find out if they were the ones that released this elusive book. If not, then I have no other leads. *hrmph*
Any of you out in CA....let me know if you see a book with me on the cover! I would like to own a copy of it. And as of right now I am clueless as to how to get it. :/
erg......*frustration makes my head hurt*

Erg...this weekend has been exhausting.
I spent 16 hours on Saturday on the set of a Griz video.
What is a Griz??
Well...I didn't know either until the shoot. Apparently they are a heavy metal/rap band that is funded by the Montel William's ex wife.
I'm not really a big fan of that type of music but hey, I'm willing to play along for that kind of exposure. And besides, despite the hot weather and the fact that it was filmed on a boat....it was actually a lot of fun to do!
I am in a LOT of the scenes they filmed. I got to wear a gas mask (in only one scene...*boo*), and I got to dance around, and all sorts of stuff. The whole thing takes place on this old, run-down boat. It is really neat inside, lots of machinery and rotting walls, and pipes. There was a photographer taking pics of the whole thing so I'll put the link up here when they get posted on the website. I don't know how much of it will make it into the final cut...but, oh well....as long as I don't look like a -complete- ass!
The video will be aired on MTV in about 2-3 months so keep an eye out for me!! I never watch MTV so I'm going to have to rely on you guys to tell me when it goes up. (and let me know if I look like an idiot!)

Eeee!! I got mah check in the mail the other day from SG. Which is good cause I can use it to buy my mom's birthday gifts!
They are really fast about sending stuff out on here...I didn't expect to get paid for my set so soon. But I am really glad I did because, damn, was August expensive! Between dentist appointments, my printer giving up on me, and my silly car, Mr. Sniggles, having some issues....I must have easily spent about 3 x more then I normally do in a month.
grrrr....
Oh well...in other news...
The new candy store in the King of Prussia mall is now open!!! OMG it is HUGE!!! I am truly in love.
Must...
go....
now!!

Okies...I finally figured out the whole "adding pictures" thing! errr....I think
So at the request of others, there are now some pics of me posted in my folders....and also other random silly things. >

Eeee! Yesterday I got my Fiesta dishware in the mail! I ordered it from the Betty Crocker catalog. I had a ton of points so it wasn't all that expensive and it was delivered super fast!
This makes me very happy indeed.
Not that I am going to be able to use it....seeing as how I don't have my own place. But I save up kitchenware and small pieces of furniture for my prospective "future" house. I figured the more I buy now, the less I have to worry about later on.
//: moving on.......
I spent this past weekend at the Horrorfind convention in Maryland. I absolutely -love- that convention. And it was really great this year, better then last even. I got to meet the entire cast from Day of the Dead (which is my favorite zombie movie of all time) and I got them to sign my re-print of "The Dead Walk" newspaper which appears in that film. Unfortunatly, I did not get Romero's autograph....I didn't feel like waiting in line for 6 hours for it. I figure he is bound to be at another convention.....perhaps I will have more patience at a later time.
......
erg....I better get mah butt to work. I was supposed to be there 15 minutes ago and I'm not even dressed yet.
oooops.

oh...and tell me what you think....yay or nay? rip 'em out, keep them in?? hmmmm???

That is all.

My oh my!
I am on the site.....errr....sort of.
Being in limbo is sort of like being inside the mall when all the stores are closed and have their gates down. You're there....but you're not.
You can walk around, look at what's inside, but without -actually- being able to shop.
But being in limbo is giving me some time to look around the site, explore the unexplored, and sort of poke at things a little bit.
*poke*
I can already tell this is going to take me awhile to get used to. Between journals, user profiles, groups, boards, and whatnot....there is certainly a lot to do on this site. Imma get started by checking out some of the rest of you.
*hugs and squishes*
