busy busy busy!

Wow! I've been busy!

The photo shoots have been non-stop for me lately. It seems like once the weather gets nice allllll the photographers want to get out and play.
Last weekend I had a shoot up in NYC in which I had to wear roller-skates! heh....I have to admit...I was feeling a little trepidation about it; as it has been almost 10 years since I've really roller-skated. But it ended up being fine. I remembered it quickly and before long I was posing in skates and balancing a serving tray with ease!
This weekend I had two shoots on Saturday...one right after the other. The first was a regular photo shoot, the second was a video shoot. Both went well...although my body is still recovering from the video shoot! (my pole dancing routine is involved...'nuff said)
Sunday I shot another SG set at the lovely Oubliette's house. (My friend Soni and I loved your house by the way!) I still have a set unqueued but I'm hoping it will go up soon as it is sort of theme related and that time period is fast approaching.
If not, I'll just have to sit on the new one till that one goes up. No biggie.
Anyways...it is always great shooting with Steve (tmronin)...I would sit on a million photo shoots to keep working with him.

Speaking of that shoot....I had an awesome time hanging out with Oubliette. I don't make friends easily...it is that whole introverted geekiness that always holds me back...but she is so incredibly easy to talk to and goof off with! Most people don't get my strange sense of humor and obscure sci-fi references....but she did! I mean, I knew she was cool when we bumped into each other on the other side of the country last year for the Comic Con!! You'd think it couldn't get better than that but seriously, she only gets cooler once you get to know her better!

[this is the worse day ever, Gus] The squirrel that eats seeds off of my balcony has a hurt foot. I hope he is going to be okay. He doesn't put any weight on it but he still uses it to eat.....sooo....I'm guessing it is just sprained. I hope he will be alright!

Oh yeah...the day I shot my last SG set I had to wake up early that day for a dog show!
I don't actually have any pet dogs but I really like them. So I go to dog shows and play with dogs all day to get my fix. To me, dogs always seem like a good idea and I always find myself wanting one. But I am a bit of a neat freak and my work schedule is terribly hectic and sometimes I have to up and leave for days or weeks for modeling jobs or SCA research....and so it just never seemed like a good idea for me to get one. Someday, when my life calms down and when I have a bigger place...I'll get a dog.
What kind? Well....I have a few favorites....

And John likes Corgies...which I never really thought of before but I'm starting to like them. They have big fluffy butts and tiny little legs!

Okies...I better go! I have a writing project to finish and I haven't even started my costumes for Fairie Fest this coming week!! Plus...I'm making a check list of house chores I'd like to do next week using my brand new copy of Martha Stewart's HomeKeeping Handbook!! How exciting!
