Yeah Grunge, its funny I remember the bands being labelled as grunge not even wanting to be labeled Grunge.

I guess most acts of that era wanted to be seen as Punk or Alternative or just straight up Rock acts.

But media has a knack of labeling & its so much easier to market when its got a label

I hear ya. I feel exactly the same way about this whole "its cool to be a nerd now" trend going on nowadays. I got my ass handed to me all the through high school for daring to read in public. Now you got posers wearing coke bottle glasses that now cost like $300. Now I can't even afford to buy the same pair of spectacles that were all I could afford growing up. Ah trend followers. You never cease to amaze...
