I fucking hate the law. Okay I really hate cops and their asshole attitudes.
I have 2 cars......a new VW Golf that I drive regularly, and an Acura, which hasn't been driven since June because it needs work and I don't have the moolah right now. I live downtown so there are lots of old houses and lots of streets blah blah blah. I do not have a driveway so I have to park my cars in the street in front of my house.
So Friday I got a notice saying I had 24 hours to remove the Acura or it will be towed. Grrrrr....I called the complaint department and left a message and the cop called me back. Supposedly the cop is going to "help" and work to resolve my complaint. Well she was a bitch. Basically she said the car has to be driven every 24 hours or it can be towed. The law actually states this, according to her. Fuck I don't even drive my other car every 24 hours sometimes. I asked if I moved it (switched spots with my Golf every day) that would be okay. She said no, that I had to drive it somewhere everyday, and that she would know if I just moved it and that I was a l liar, she has been doing her job long enough to know about liars like me, and why did I even have the car in the first place. What the fuck! Thats what I said. What pisses me off the most is that my car is not harming anyone. The whole other side of the street is empty and their is plenty of room for 20 more cars to be parked on the street. I don't think I should be punished because I am one of maybe 2 on the block that doesn't have a driveway. Grrrrr...........that is all I have to say I am so mad. Oh yeah I moved my car over to my parent's house, so it wouldn't get towed away. I didn't have anyother choice.
