Have fun in the ocean! I've got the same need for water. After my college years on the Mississippi, I realized I need to be near bigger water. Something about living near the edge of a continent appeals to me along with the everchanging vastness of the sea. Hope your trip is fun.

You could always find a local pet sitter who does in home care, as in they keep your pet in their house with them. I've noticed it tends to be easier on the dog when they have constant company of a person and or another dog : )

i understand how you feel about leaving the dog after just getting it. I found a dog i want but I'm not going to really be around for the next two months so we can bond.
