Week 1 of as dog mom. Casualties so far: a pair of really nice running socks, 3 squeaky toys.

Went out and bought a Nylabone and a bunch of other crap that Chanel can chew on. The cats are not attacking the pooch anymore, which is lovely.

I have a fitting for a runway show tonight. Fittings suck. I am always nervous that my ass has exploded by 2 inches and I wont be able to fit in anything.

This week is going to fly by. 2 fittings. Runway show. Birthday shindig. Then I leave to California.

I have been waking up awfully early lately. No real reason for it either. Back on the coffee train. Oh well.

Goal this week is to take a video of my house. I promised one ages ago but it is never super clean so I am always putting it off.

Here is an odd one to hold you over.
I was bored and waiting for people to show up and eat curry.

There are about a million baby white spiders running around my house. Grr.

And apparently redheads love pit bulls. I was attacked by a heard of ginger girls when I was out walking my dog on Sunday. Seriously, 4 girls, all ginger, between the ages of 5 and 11.

They wouldn't stop petting the dog. Chanel even got tired of it after a while.

I was drawn to your blog because of the dog talk. Anyway, I highly recommend the Kong toy for chewy dogs... saved many a pair of shoes around here and keeps them busy (put peanut butter in it!) Sorry about the running socks... at least you know what happened to them instead of that dryer mystery phenomenon

Definitely get the Kong toys, they're good for chewers because it takes awhile for the rubber to break down. Especially the "classic" Kong that looks like a snowman, because its round sides mean the teeth will slide off instead of sinking in. (It also bounces unpredictably when thrown, which is good if she likes to chase things - just be careful doing it indoors because (a) it can scuff wall paint and (b) it can carom around and break fragile things . ) They have different sizes and (I think) different hardnesses.
White spiders... *shiver*
The pictures of you makes me shiver in a much nicer way.

I like baby spiders. They are so cute. You are gorgeous as always. Nice legs. I love how you are sitting on a bar stool, but your left foot still reaches the floor.
