New beastie is seriously cute, my kids teach ours to hug, which is great but also bloody annoying (in a resigned sort of way), when they jump up on you whilst watching TV and 'demand' a hug.

I have this idea about spellcasting, probably because I am a geek and a nerd who has read all of those kinds of books, where in the past it was about chanting the right words and then having the right items, but in the future it will be about a series of photos like the one in your blog. Don't they just seem to "magically" put you in a mood when you look at them in sequence? It's not comics as it's not so much a story but really it's more of a series of feelings...
