By 'turning into Bridget Jones' I meant that I don't get dressed, don't wash up, become a vile slob and drink too much wine on my own, when Neil's away. Not that I miss him.
I in fact last night sat around in my pj's watching Big Brother and eating pizza (for the second night in a row, oops).
I'm going to include a little photobooth picture in every journal now. I guess that means I don't have to say so much, visuals are always better received.
I spent £55 in Primark yesterday on new clothes for work. I didn't realise it was possible to spend so much money in there... but for that £55 I did get: a bag, 2 pairs of shoes, 2 shirts, a pair of trousers, a cardigan, 2 necklaces and 2 pairs of earrings. Joyous.
I got the angles on for todays picture... My head looks huge!
i was going to treat you to a Facebook Interview (it's like a more sophisticated version of a myspace quiz), but my browser crashed and i lost half of this entry. Too much of a risk to go through all that again.

Still haunted by financial worry. I feel terrible for it, money shouldn't be such a factor in determining my mood, but things are tough. Ouch. I'll write more sometime soon, I'm sure.

Last night my mother and I went to see Kyile Minogue at the O2 Arena.

Things are both so happy and so difficult at once. I am having bigger money woes than I could have imagined. Credit crunch, anyone?
I'm fast approaching a life where there is no spare time. I say this as I'm sat on my bum watching Come Dine With Me, but from next month it's going to be all work and no play.
I need to start my dissertation soon which I am equally scared and excited about. I'm on a working title of 'Did the initial religious revival during the first Chechen war play a role in the ideology of Chechen separatists?'. or 'Is Political Islam a threat to Russia?". It will be neither of these titles but these are the areas I am looking at in my first stages of research and I will construct a question when I know a bit more about the subject specifics. I have started to notice a lot of assumption in the literature regarding religious ideology being the driving force behind the Chechen separatist movement when I had always understood it as more to do with conflict along ethnic, historic and national lines. I think it will also be really interesting to see how analysis on the ideology of Chechen separatists has changed since 9/11. I would put money on the slant towards religion having come post-2001.
This was going to be a really short journal but I suppose it's not. I suppose it's not the most exciting journal ever.
Every time I feel stressed, especially about money and work all I have to remember is 6th March 2010 = the date I will marry JohnStitch.
We are also moving soon and we will be practically neighbours with Doplex and mat8drb. You can guess if that's a good or a bad thing
