sometimes i wish i were a pretty girl
so i could look at myself in the show-ahhhhh...

ya gotta love robyn hitchcock for using the subjunctive correckt-ly. tongue

i'm thinking of buying a hedgehog. they are tiny. they apparently feel like a bristleybrush, will eat the stray spiders that cause me great fear, and curl up into a ball reminiscent of duckpins.

i have to pee every five minutes. what it is, homes.

in other news, the job market is garbage bag. if you're not a driver or a welder, get ready to live with your parents! or perhaps live a Flashdance-type of lifestyle: fry cook by day, mysterious aerobics instructor by night?

thanks for all your supportive comments guys! i will just say that, as Truman Capote once said, beer is the ultimate social lubricant...hehe. things are better. i'll write more in a bit, but i need to go buy some hot muffin action to soak up some of this pot o' coffee goodness...

wow. i have a lot of sympathy for missy and erin and whoever else edits the pics. it took me about 3 hours to do 45 photos. anything i type is going to sound like rargle bargle mushhhh. tongue

however, the soothing sounds of neutral milk hotel and a rice crispies klondike bar may soothe???

p.s. infinitely funnier commerical possibility:

"WHO would you do for a Klondike bar?"

sung to the same dippy jingle, and incorporating all the fun of the "sex, marry, push-off-a-cliff" choices game!!!!

time to pick up the parents at the providence Radisson and put on my glossy gradumation shoes. (haha, these would be the second pair in the last entry's photos. tongue)

last friday I bit the 60 dollar bullet (ow) and went to the Campus Dance. Even though i like school sponsored events about as much as sucking on raw cabbage, it was made palatable by the event of a misty rain, which meant all the fancy tables were covered in ghostsheets and the teacandles were snuffed. we got there early, and watched as one little girl in a red raincoat twirled across the 50 meter dancefloor to the sounds of big band. the nice thing about the rain: all the old alum couples got to feel romantic and risque: "henry, remember the time we danced under the night rain to "in the mood?"

happy weekend to everyone smile i'll be MIA for a few days, as Apple has my ibook hostage. I can only imagine what the saucy lesbian who took it in for repairs thinks of my harddrive jpg collection, haha. smile

shtuff

p.s. genshi, i actually went ahead and wrote to Taschen and they were pretty awesome and receptive! they asked me to send a brief synopsis of the book's outline and a few images. of course, i am now kicking myself in the ass for not saving photoshop files of my work (just tiny poor quality jpegs, which means i will basically have to start all over again. DAMN-IT.

and i meant that in the hyphenated herman t.zweibel way.
