I'm also writing a paper...my dreaded Masters paper.

I've been procrastinating for the past month, and now I'm paying for it. My first full draft, which was pushed back a month last month, is due tomorrow at 4, and I just started working on it this afternoon. I've been doing just about anything except working on this stupid thing. I'm gonna wake up extra early tomorrow, call in sick to work, and then I'm going to work on this damn thing like a madman.

hehe that's a great picture... school-related tension always makes for good art, I've found. I guess it's like a safety valve. And god, do I know about procrastinating papers. I always put it off to the last possible second and drive myself INSANnnne.

Your anecdote about getting a t.s.eliot quote as a tattoo is very funny! Was it "April is the cruelest month"? or "In the room the women come and go, talking of Michelangelo?" I have a Gary Oldman anecdote: I was just out of film school and working as a location projectionist for the film Track 29, which starred Oldman. They weren't letting actors watch the dailies for that film and one day he came off the set, bare-chested and snuck back in the projection booth and was peeking through the window next to me. It was funny because I didn't see him sneak in; I was busy focussing the film and turned to my right to see half-naked Oldman beside me. Not bragging but I actually made one contribution to that film--I suggested to the director that he use the John Lennon song "Mother" in the opening sequence and he actually used it. Your profile is so great--so literate and witty. Some people get to be both beautiful and smart. "It is a sad and wonderful world..."
