If you haven't, you should make a flyer with some of your work and see if you can drop it by vets or pet stores in your area. At the very least, see if you can leave some business cards. My vet has a picture hung and business cards from someone who paints more straightforward animal portraits and flyers from someone who builds fancy dog houses, beds, and other pet-centric stuff.
