the most important things to love are the imperfections. and, while this is cliche, most cliches have cemented their status by being truths --- to person after person after person.

anyone can love the whole, the unit, the coherent; fixating on the knobble of knee gone slightly awry makes it (and its owner) indelibly ours.

I do not see the flaw.

Edited because I hit submit before I was done. At least I got to post first today. I'm soooo special!

Fyodor Dostoevsky wrote of how a sight imperfection can make a person more real, and hence more attractive then one who is a prefect maniquin (from "Crime and Punishment")

I don't see any flaws.

Duo, was that photoshop? At first I thought you had a digicam that does double exposures. Then I noticed you breaking the frame on the left.

Green is my favorite color.

The most impressive people are the ones that are never satisfied with themselves.

Just saw your candid pics for the first time and I was really blown away. You do some really great work, on top of being dangerously sexy.

Can't wait to see more. Thanks.

Hmm. You're being all philoserious and stuff. Though you're right.

You even gave a rational response to my insane ravings about the epistemological paradox of you and my eyes. (That's how I know you're actually right outside my window. Come in. I'll make tea.)

I hope nothing's the matter, but if it is and you need a vent, just call me ductman. No, don't. But you know what I mean.

I know about peanut maggots from the time I was eating a bag of peanuts. I found the maggot after I was done. Yeah.

And dude, your "maudlin comment" (w/ uncertain sexual undertones) regarding my chickie must have been as subtle as my sexual proposition to you regarding a bedroom costume drama those many weeks ago: that is to say, wha?

"most cliches have cemented their status by being truths"
Isn't this in itself a cliche? tongue

But to get all first-year philosophy student on your ass, who's to say what's an imperfection? Wouldn't that be defined by the person who's either loving those imperfections (in which case, would they still count as imperfections?), or the person who has those so-called flaws?

Oh, and yer really purdy. Both of you, even. Yay photoshop.

Cliches are just truths that are too annoyingly obvious.

If you want to see what flaws and incoherence are, I emailed you some pictures. Damn you for encouraging me to take pictures of things...I need to borrow your "it's all green!" filter and your excess talent.

You're right, Flaws are important. Everyone and everything would be plastic and dull without flaws. What would a painting be like without "happy accidents", spills or smears that wind up giving it character and uniqueness? Pops and hisses in a recording? and with people, scars, limps, birthmarks etc etc etc... Flaws help bring about the flavor of everything in the world.

Perfection is for chumps. wink

You're right as far as most cliche's being truths.....imperfections in some people can be a defining characteristic, depending how that person carries themselves, it could be a positive thing.

great new photo's.....have you looked at any of Cindy Sherman's work?
