Today an old man and his grand daughter came over to pick up Shiva. There was nothing I could do about it. I had no way to keep him. Karen was only letting him stay here with us until she found him a home.... and now he's gone.
I can't stop crying, I feel so silly, but I can't help it. I grew very attached to him. He's so sweet. I'm going to miss him so much.
Halley pointed something out that made me feel a little better. Shiva was my kitten, but he's the old man's cat. For the few weeks that we had him, we got to experience part of the best time in his life: being a kitten. His new owner won't get the opportunity to see him learning to climb and jump across things, or learn to pounce with a little rubber bat. I gave him Shiva's bat too, since it's his favorite toy.
I'm going to miss Shiva and how he was such a sleepyhead and how he loved to cuddle up in-between Halley and I when we slept, or curled up on the pillows by our heads. Or how he always seemed to think right before we went to bed was play time, and ran around the room climbing and pouncing, but then he would jump up on the bed and fall asleep on my chest as he purred. I guess i should just shut up...
I'm gonna miss that little monster, sharp claws and all.
Uhm... other news...
I found a website to get a corset! About damn time. At Faeryn's Grove I found the "Danger" corset for $100. It's made in different colored monster fur, but I e-mailed the owner of the site and she told me I could get it in Leopard print at no additional cost!
The postal office people sent my care package and check back to SGHQ. I have no idea why on earth they'd do that. I've been here the whole time, and if Halley and I weren't here, his grandparents were. The package and check NEVER came here. It fucking sucks. Elisabeth said she was going to try and send it out again though.
Last night I cut my hair like Lain from Serial Experiments Lain. I really love it. If you were in the chat last night you probably saw me babbling on saying "I'm Lain, I'm Lain!!!!" heh...

i'm sorry about shiva. :[ ig uess that's kid of why i don't want another pet.. you get too attached and then something happens.
